Arbor Mulch
Arbor Mulch (also called Arborist Mulch, Wood Chip Mulch, or Tree Trimming Mulch) is a coarse, natural ground cover made from chipped tree trimmings, branches, logs, and green waste from arborists and local tree services. It typically includes a mix of wood chips, bark, leaves, and twigs in varying shades of brown.
It provides a rustic, organic appearance, excellent moisture retention, weed suppression, and erosion control while slowly breaking down to enrich the soil with nutrients.
Common uses include:
- Large garden beds, tree rings, shrub borders, and foundation plantings for a natural woodland look.
- Slopes, hillsides, and erosion-prone areas where its coarser texture holds well.
- Pathways, walkways, and high-traffic zones needing durable coverage.
- Weed control, moisture conservation, and soil improvement in residential and commercial landscapes.
- Budget-friendly, sustainable landscaping projects across the East Bay and greater Bay Area.
It is coarser than Mini Arbor Mulch, making it ideal for larger areas and functional applications rather than fine decorative beds.
